Spring 2018 Dapper Day!

We headed out to Dapper Day at Magic Kingdom last weekend! It was a fun day and it was so much more enjoyable because it was about 87 degrees instead of a heat index of 100 like last year!

I got tons of compliments on my dress which is from Hearts & Found over on Etsy. The quality was great and I loved the color and design!

We only went to the Magic Kingdom Day of Dapper Day weekend this year. Although we also went to the Edison on Friday night which was a really fun experience! I highly recommend The Edison if you're interested in a cool atmosphere and some entertainment after 9:30 pm. I loved the live band and singer that played a ton of Postmodern Jukebox type music! I'll definitely be back again.

We ate breakfast at the Wave at The Contemporary. It is definitely one of the most affordable breakfast buffets at Disney if you're interested in breakfast buffets. It has no characters but that doesn't bother me. Although I did miss the red velvet pancakes from 1900 Park Fare!

The Ultimate Packing List for my London and Paris Trip

I'm going to London and Paris in October!! I kind of made this as a last minute-ish decision in July when I booked my plane ticket. So of course I've spent almost every moment since then obsessively researching and preparing my packing list.

I have bought a bunch of random stuff I needed, some of it probably unnecessary, but it is soothing my mind to get it all.

I've got my backpack which is an Osprey Farpoint 40. I bought a tote bag at Target to use as a carry on and I've finally picked out a travel anti-theft purse (which is this one from Travelon in pewter).

So here's my official packing list, I've test packed it a couple of times and I think this is the way I am actually going to pack it!

Outfit for the plane: green t-shirt dress, leggings, grey shirt, black coat, green scarf, my boots and socks (yes plus compression socks.. I'm old).

I'm really pretty proud of myself for cutting down the clothes I'm packing because I am a chronic overpacker! Seriously, I usually bring a huge suitcase for a four day trip. So planning for this international trip in a backpack has been challenging to say the least.

L-R: T-shirt dress, pj pants, pj shirt, long sleeved flannel, black sweater, black t-shirt, black and white striped long sleeve shirt, short sleeve shirt. Leggings, jeans, two pairs of socks, tights. Not pictured in this is the outfit I'll be wearing on the plane

Miscellaneous bag

My Dragana Bag!

I've been eyeing this bag from a local artisan for a few months. I saw it in a store while we were at the farmer's market but I talked myself out of it because it was a bit pricy. But now that I've spent a good 8 months searching for a grey leather purse that I like, I saw it the other day again and went ahead and bought it!

The designer hand makes her leather bags and they are so incredibly soft. I love the cut outs on it. I also love that I can wear on my shoulder or across my body. It's also pretty awesome that the artist is local and I bought the bag from her. Shop local!

You can check out Dragana's Facebook and her etsy shop.
